Building Bookcases
Elementary and Middle school students get the chance to build their own bookshelves allowing them to create an at home library. The Lawton BSMC volunteered to assist the students in building the bookcases to take home. This program provide hands on construction knowledge, use of tools and life skills such as patience and teamwork.
NABSTMC Scholarship Program
The philosophy of the National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club is to promote the history of African American veterans, to be a positive role model for youth in our community, to support our veterans by visiting local veterans, their families, and supporting our fallen heroes, to support charitable organizations in our community, to uphold the traditions and standards of the National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club , as well as to promote motorcycle safety in our community.

Membership in the Lawton, OK Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club is open to anyone with an interest in promoting the history of the Buffalo Soldiers, maintaining a positive image of motorcycle riders, and interested in group riding, regardless of race, creed, religion, or sex. The club membership reserves the right to refuse membership.
We are a community-oriented, non-profit organization comprised of male and female military veterans, law enforcement, and other business professionals, all dedicated to the task of making everyone aware of the roles the original Buffalo Soldiers played in building our country.
The probationary period is six months. During this period you are expected to attend scheduled club meetings and activities. There are three mandatory site visits you must complete during the probationary period. You must seek out and coordinate a community service of choice approved by the club members. The club probation period is designed to evaluate whether this organization will meet your needs and interests as well as ours.
